Lynn Serafinn says her self-help book, The Garden of the Soul: lessons from four flowers that unearth the Self, not only "grabs reality by the horns and presents some of the frequently most avoided topics of human experience in a completely transparent and honest way, but it also pushes the creative envelope of what can be done in a personal memoir".

Robert Young from Burton on Trent entered five songs, five love poems and a non-fiction book into the Brit Writers' Awards Unpublished 2010. He filmed this video near Chur, in Switzerland, in which he thanks the Brit Writers team for "all your hard work... and for giving us the opportunity to show what Brits can write".

Send us your video! Here's how.
