How do you feel your school will benefit from holding a mini BWA competition?

"Students like to have a'real' audience for their work and they often raise their attainment when there is a competition as a stimulus. The programme offered through the Brit Awards Writers 2010 will give them an opportunity to share their work beyond the confines of the school and inspire them to enjoy the creative process that writing can bring."

Entries showcase 2010

Did you submit an entry to Brit Writers' Awards Unpublished 2010?

While the judges were making their final decisions, we gave entrants the chance to get behind their writing and tell us, in a two-minute video:

  • who they were
  • where they were from
  • which category they entered
  • what their story, poem or song was about - and what (or who!) inspired them to write it
  • what was special about their writing.

We loved seeing people's videos and showcased them in the following pages...

Your videos:

Entries showcase: fiction
Entries showcase: non-fiction
Entries showcase: poetry
Entries showcase: songwriting
