How do you feel your school will benefit from holding a mini BWA competition?
"We would recognise from our work with the poet residence that we have some talented writers in school and would like to further extend this by giving children other writing opportunities."

FAQs: using the BWA websiteWhat's the difference between being a registered user of the BWA website and being a BWA member? Anyone can be a registered user of the BWA website – it's free, and all you have to do is tell us your email address. Becoming a registered user gives you access to additional areas of the website (such as our features section, for example), which are being regularly updated with inspirational articles and writing tips. Register for free now! If you also want to submit an entry to the Brit Writers' Awards Unpublished 2011, you will need to sign up to upgrade to a full BWA account, for which there is a one-off admin fee of £10.95 (including VAT). Once you have signed up for a full account, you will be considered a BWA member and be able to submit up to three pieces of work to our 2011 competition. First, you need to sign up for a full BWA account by declaring your association with that BWA member school, business or community organisation. When you have completed your contact details and chosen a password and you get to the bottom of the sign-up form, select 'Yes' to show that you are part of a BWA member organisation. A box will appear into which you need to enter your organisation's unique BWA membership number. The person in charge of the BWA programme within your school, company or community organisation will be able to tell you the membership number. |
