How do you feel your school will benefit from holding a mini BWA competition?

"As we are aiming to promote the profile of writing within the school, a mini-BWA would aid in kick starting our goal towards making our children young enthusiastic writers. The BWA would be a project that the children can get excited about and give them the platform to excel at being budding young writers of the future."

How to enter

How to enter your story, poem, song or script into the Brit Writers' Awards Unpublished 2011

Entering the Brit Writers' Awards is easy! To give you the best BWA experience possible, we've created a simple process for submitting your story, poem or song for consideration by our high-profile judges.

The first thing we would recommend that you do is to look at the judging criteria; so you are really clear about the entry requirements.

We have introduced a simple and secure online payment system which is now live.  Firstly, you need to complete the signup form. You will then be sent an email containing an activation link that will take you into your account and allow you to begin uploading your work.

The hardest part of the process is crafting your story, poem, script or song in the first place, and making sure your work is original, exciting and well-written. If you're stuck for ideas, it's a great idea to register for free access to the features area of this website and check out the features and writing tips we've compiled especially for you.

Read the entry rules and our terms & conditions.
